Roles: Growth Architect, Paid Media Strategist, Digital Funnel Engineer, Executive Mentor Core Methodology: The Baton Pass — build the machine, train the owner, hand over the controls

Project Overview

Deyder Cintron brings over a decade in digital marketing — years of independent web design followed by founding and operating a full-service digital marketing agency (2017–2022) serving online coaches in the relationship, personal development, and dating niches. As a Meta Certified Media Buyer, he directed a cross-functional team of thirteen independent contractors — copywriters, designers, photographers, and media buyers — architecting automated sales funnels, high-ticket digital programs, and community ecosystems.

That agency playbook — audience acquisition, conversion-optimized funnels, and direct-to-consumer monetization — has been fully adapted to power The Sovereign Musician platform, moving independent artists from passive streaming dependents to self-sustaining creative CEOs.

The Challenges (then coaches, now musicians — same trap)

  • The Distribution Trap: Creators who rely on platforms they don’t control — streaming algorithms then, social reach now — earn fractions of a cent while surrendering their fan data.
  • Low-Conversion Digital Presence: Most independent creators build decorative pages instead of conversion-optimized funnels, producing wasted ad spend and zero predictable monthly cash flow.
  • The Content Bottleneck: Translating a creative vision into content and paid ads that convert casual viewers into dedicated, high-value customers.

The Strategy: Three Documented Baton Passes

The same arc, three independent clients: build the machine, teach the owner to run it, hand over the controls — and watch the growth compound after departure.

Baton Pass #1 — The Fan-Subscription Blueprint (FemForce)

The Execution: Partnered with founder Stacey Poterson to overhaul the conversion optimization of her membership landing page and engineer a Facebook/Instagram Ads campaign built on precise, emotionally-driven copy. The funnel doubled her client base within two months of running ads — and the engagement didn’t end with execution: Stacey was trained to run the system herself.

“Deyder’s outstanding marketing skills shined a light on how to improve the conversion optimization of my membership landing page… Thanks to his customer-obsessed, data-driven approach… I ended up doubling my client base within two months of running ads!” — Stacey Poterson, CEO & Founder, FemForce (LinkedIn recommendation, Nov 2020)

As her ads later ran across nine metropolitan markets, she publicly credited the teaching: “If you see my ads everywhere now, it’s because this guy taught me how.”

The Musician Translation: Replaces volatile single-release income with a recurring VIP Fan Subscription Ecosystem — private fan clubs, exclusive access, recurring merchandise tiers — establishing a monthly financial floor the artist owns and operates.

Baton Pass #2 — From Zero to Authority (Tiffany Armstrong)

The Execution: Directed the audience-building campaign that took coach Tiffany Armstrong from a nonexistent online presence — no website, no social media, no followers, no brand — to market leadership in online self-defense education for women, building an engaged following of 50,000+ women across Facebook and Instagram in months, through data-driven insights paired with structural video scripting and strategic storytelling.

“Deyder’s strategic, yet tactical marketing strategies helped me go from a non-existent online presence to one of the top authorities… In a few short months, he took my relevant and highly engaged following to over 50,000 women.” — Tiffany Armstrong, Speaking Monetization Coach (LinkedIn recommendation, Nov 2020)

The Musician Translation: Replaces shouting into the void with a data-driven Short-Form Content Engine (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) — algorithmic triggers and precise conceptual scripting that push new singles and visual assets into high-share loops.

Baton Pass #3 — Full Ecosystem & Ad Autonomy (Meet The Freemans)

The Execution: Engaged the lifestyle brand @meetthefreemans at roughly 3,000 followers. Rapid-fire ad testing identified the positioning that became their signature — communication for couples — validated by data before it became the brand. Co-developed their flagship program ecosystem, Empowered Couples University, built the branding, market research, graphics, and automated webinar funnels — then ran the founders through a 3-month Meta Ads accelerator, handing them full paid-traffic autonomy.

The brand has since grown past 1 million Instagram followers — on their own steam, still operating on positioning and infrastructure from the original engagement, with graphics from the original build live on their site today. (Video testimonial on file.)

The Musician Translation: Teaches artists to build a diversified Creative IP Portfolio (masterclasses, digital products, licensing funnels) while executing the ultimate Baton Pass — personally mastering Meta ad managers so they never surrender their margins to a label.

Baton Pass #4 — The Identity Rebuild (Kenny Weiss)

The Execution: Life coach Kenny Weiss did deep, intense inner-healing work — behind a web presence he jokes made him look like “a gummy bear salesman.” The engagement rebuilt the entire identity layer: value proposition, branding, web design, copywriting, rapid-fire ad testing, and the co-development of his self-paced product ecosystem, Greatness University — which he went on to promote aggressively for years after the engagement ended.

Two years after the work concluded, he thanked Deyder by name in the acknowledgments of his published book — in print and in the audiobook edition. (Video testimonial on file.)

The Musician Translation: The artist-brand alignment process — making the outside match the inside — that turns a talented unknown into a coherent, marketable identity without sacrificing authenticity.

The Institutional Crossover — Songwriters of North America (SONA)

The Execution: SONA — founded by hit songwriters Michelle Lewis and Kay Hanley, and known as “the closest thing songwriters have to a union” — had outgrown its homemade, bedroom-built web presence during its rise as the driving advocacy force behind the Music Modernization Act. Deyder was hired to build the organization’s first official website: full branding and web design, engineered around a single conversion goal — turning visitors into donation-members. The organization’s leadership, including board members Pam Sheyne (co-writer of “Genie in a Bottle”) and Brendan Okrent (formerly ASCAP), documented their thanks in writing; the relationships remain personal to this day.

Why it matters here: the organization that exists to fight for songwriter ownership chose this marketer to build its growth infrastructure. For a platform whose entire thesis is creator ownership, that is not a client logo — it is a lineage credit.

Outcomes

  • A documented pattern, not an anecdote: four independent clients, one arc — build, teach, hand over, compound. The Sovereign thesis (“create owners, not dependents”) demonstrated in a prior industry before it was ever branded.
  • Enterprise blueprints, translated: the exact conversion-funnel machinery that grew coaching businesses, adapted turnkey for independent musicians — cold impressions into owned email lists, superfans, and recurring revenue.
  • The Hybrid Edge: an artist-development platform led by someone verified on both sides — a producer and songwriter who engineered four Grammy-nominated recordings in four consecutive years, AND a Meta Certified media buyer who ran the growth machinery professionally for five years. Competitors have one column; this platform is built on both.

High-Impact Design Stats for Layout

  • 2x in 2 Months — Client base doubled after funnel + ads launch (FemForce)
  • 0 → 50K+ — Engaged following built from a nonexistent presence in months (Tiffany Armstrong)
  • 3K → 1M+ — Engaged at 3K; trained to run their own ads; the brand has since passed 1M (The Freemans)
  • Thanked in Print — Named in a client’s published book acknowledgments, two years after the engagement (Kenny Weiss)
  • Trusted by the Union — Built the first official website for Songwriters of North America, engineered for donation-membership conversion (SONA)
